This book provides a record of Matthias Farnsworth and his descendants in America. He was one of the early settlers in Lynn, Massachusetts seen in 1657, who followed the Pilgrim Fathers. Joseph of Dorchester, Mass is the first bearing the name in America. He is first seen in 1632, probably coming over with the Dorchester Company.
