This short book covers the fascinating history of Colonel James Fulton (1816-1896) and his wife Priscilla (Wells) Fulton (1816-1902), pioneers from Missouri to the West to Oregon by wagon in 1847.  In 1848 when James learned of Gold in California he saddled his horse, loaded a pack horse with supplies and miner's tools and headed for California. He was successful and acquired quite a bit. He sold his claim for cash and started a business with miners at the Gold-Camp. (Softcover)
