This book is extracted from The History of Woodstock, Connecticut Vol 5, and covers the John Gay family genealogy, of England and America. It begins with the descendants of John Gay, who came to New England in 1630 on the ship 'Mary and John, settled on what was called Watertown, and as a founder of Dedham, settled there 1635-1636. He was married to Joanna Baldwickie (Baldwin). He lived to 1688 and she lived to 1691. They had three children. We see several generations of the Gay family ancestors.
