Jeremy Adams, though not sure of his parentage, went over to Cambridge in the year 1632 and moved to Hartford in 1636. Shortly after, he married Rebecca Greenhill who had two children to carry his legacy after his passing in 1683. This book includes the history of this branch of the Adams family as well as the later descendants.

The Adams Hartford Library ne

The book was ordered in the hopes it would provide some much needed information about an ancestor but alas the history is not as complete as hoped. It did contain corroborating evidence of two of my Higbee lines. But not of my Steelman line. It is also a bit difficult to follow. As many genealogies are. All in all a worthwhile purchase to add to my collecyion.
