This book, in three parts, gives the history and ancestry of Herbert Drake Halsey, the families of Stephen Alling Halsey, Edwin Mills, Helen Halsey and Adelia Vandervoort Halsey. Before them was Thomas Halsey of Hertfordshire, England, and Southampton, Long Island, 1591-1679 who settled in America by 1637. We're shown family charts, and what his life looked like as a Puritan emigrant. Sketches of many family members are included in each generation.
