By Consuelo Furman
St. Albans origin of three brothers, John Lawrence of New Amsterdam, Thomas Lawrence of Newtown, Long Island, and William Lawrence of Flushing, L.I. The line is traced back before they were in America. The St. Albans Antrobus family is a branch of the Cheshire family. We discover in the pages that Cicely Steward of Wells, was married in 1532 to John Lawrence, Chief Burgess of St Albans. William Lawrence married Katherine Beaumond in 1559, and the story of this line is revealed. Typescript.
