This 1935 book provides the genealogy of the descendants of Benjamin Long and Mary Hershe Long, from 1810 to 1935. It provides a glimpse into the lives of the ancestors and their interesting lives, their history, and rich heritage. In Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, on June 19, 1810 a young  Benjamin Long (Lang) aged 23, being the twelfth of sixteen children, married seventeen year old Mary (Hershey, Hershi). They belonged to the colony of Penna Germans, both from well to do families, and deeply religious, with a background of being subjected to religious and social persecution in Europe. They came to America as a haven for peace and freedom.
