This book provides an extensive look at the history and genealogy of the Loomis family, showing the descendants of Joseph Loomis, who came from Braintree, England in 1638, and settled in Windsor, Connecticut in 1639. His father was John Loomis, also of Baintree, and his will is dated April 14, 1619, as shown in this publication.
