This short book provides the genealogy of Edward Lumas of Ipswich, Massachusetts and some of his descendants to 1917. Edward Lumas, born about 1606, came from London in the 'Susan and Ellen' in 1635, and settled in Ipswich, Massachusetts, as early as 1648. He was a weaver, and had six sons. The name was spelled variously as Lomys, Lummis, Lumys, Lumas, Lummus, Lomax, etc.
