John Washington Mann, Sr. was born 1778 in Virginia and died in 1870. His wife was Elizabeth 'Betsy' Hamner. She was born in 1790. Their son, John Washington Mann, Jr was born in 1810, in Georgia. John Jr. married Nancy Ann Hardin in 1883, and they had nine children. He died in 1885 in Amory, Mississippi. This genealogy was researched by Evelyn Vogt Horton (dec'd) and Marteal Wells.
