This is the Growden Family extracted from Thomas Richardson and his descendants. Following the line of Joseph Growden who settled in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and taking up on his own and his father's behalf, ten thousand acres of land near the Neshaminy, in Trevose. Records indicate he held various offices in Philadelphia, and represented Bucks County from 1684 to 1722. We see his will, letters to and from Benjamin Franklin, official state business, discussions on the Revolutionary War, and other names mentioned being Lloyd, Galloway, and Gordon. Softcover.
