Hadley is of ancient origin and found in several English counties. The variations of spelling include Headley, Hedley, Hadly, Hedly, and more. George Hadley of Ipswich, Mass the original emigrant, was from England and came to America in 1639 or prior. He was born about 1600. He married Mary Porter about 1633. She died in 1667. He married second Deborah Skillings. His children were all born in Ipswich. Softcover.
