On a quest to join the Daughters of the American Revolution, the author shares her journey into compiling the book, as records and facts were uncovered pertaining to ancestors of the Herndon and Connor Families.  "Kith and Kin"  genealogy begins with Benjamin Herndon, one of six children born to Joseph and Mary (nee Boswell) in Caroline County, Virginia. When Benjamin was eight years old, in 1757, his father died. Benjamin married Sarah Pines in 1769. She was seventeen and he was twenty years old.  (Softcover)
