The Miner family’s rich history spans several generations, characterized by dedication to family, service to their country, and a strong sense of community. From settling in America to the War of 1812 and beyond, each generation made significant contributions to society. The family endured challenges and showed resilience, unity, and strength, leaving a lasting legacy for their descendants to honor and preserve. The English beginnings, Thomas Miner (Mior, Mynor) the ancestor to America, was born in England in 1608, and traveled on the Arbella to New England in 1630. He lived then in Salem and Stonington. We see Clement of New London 1638, Clement of Northfield 1765.
