Second Edition, Enlarged. This book provides genealogical and historical records of one Fowler family In America. These are the descendants of John (1790-1856) and Jane (Freer) (1792-1868) Fowler of Ohio. Jane (Freer family were Huguenots, who were ordered out of France by the Pope during the Religious Wars of 16-17 centuries, and this family was among the refugees.

The grandfather of this family, Andrew Fowler, lived in White Plains, New York, during the time of the Revolution. General Washington's Headquarters were in his house. Between the Continentals and the Red Coats his property was sacrificed.  The various records, including deeds, births, marriages, and deaths, graves, were taken from historical records, state and county records.
