This book on the Gaylord family, covers the history of the family and ancestral line of William Gaylord or Gaillard (1583-1673) who came to America in 1630. The family is of French-Huguenot extraction. In this line is the Lieutenant Aaron Gaylord, who was killed at Wyoming and whose wife Katherine and three children fled for their lives back to Connecticut.
