Laban Andrews, son of Samuel and Abigail (Tyler) Andrews, was born in Wallingford, Connecticut 1728 and married Prudence (Stanley) Andrews in 1758 whom he had eight children with. Before his marriage he served in the military and as a church warden and in the year 1782 the family moved to New York. This book tells of the lines of Laban and Prudence (Stanley) Andrews- the fifth generation in America, Olive Andrews, Amherst Andrews, as well as their ancestry.
