The autobiography of George Washington Bean and his ancestral background. He was a Utah pioneer, one of seven children born to James and Elizabeth Lewis Bean April 1, 1831. G.W. Married Elizabeth Baum in 1853, and married Emily Haws and Mary Jane Wall in 1856. He was an Indian interpreter to Gov. Brigham Young of Utah Territory, settled Provo and Built Fort Utah.
