Henry Beusse, born in Altona, Germany 1827, was an ambitious sailor by trade and landed in New Orleans, Christ day, 1845. From there, he explored various places in America and eventually settled in Athens, Georgia where he married his wife Menecies Lindsay Evans in 1856. This book serves as a compilation of sketches of the Beusse and Evans families as well as various items of interest.
