This is a sketch of the Carr Family with records from 1450 to 1926, written in 1926 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the homestead that was built by Nicholas Carr in 1776, in which they had a Carr family reunion. Parts are taken from the book by Edson I. Carr.  Old variant spellings of the name include Karre, Karr, Ker, Kerrs, and Carre, Car. The Carrs from England who settled in America were Quakers.
