This is an account of the genealogy of William Carver from Hertfordshire, England, in 1682. John and Mary (Lane) Carver  came to America from Hereford England with William Penn in the ship "Welcome" in 1682. Joseph, Jacob and William Carver (brothers), came in the ship "Samson' about the same time. They were all members of the Society of Friends and settled in Penna. William married Joan Kinsey in 1689 in Bucks County, Penna. She died and he remarried in 1723 to Grace Carter. He died in Byberry, Phila Cty., in 1736.
