This booklet gives the history of the Easterday family. It is believed with certainty that the family name in Germany was Ostertag or Osterdock and translated after their arrival in America. Christian Easterday and Julia Blessing were married in Germany about 1750. They are seen in Virginia and Maryland in the mid 1700s, with a son Christian born in 1752, and more children following. We see the Easterday graveyard, the will of Christian Easterday, letters, and some information on the Blessing side of the family.
