This is the Fox family genealogy, including the Metherd, Benner and Leiter descendants up to the year 1914. It includes some biographies, including that of Frederick Fox, born May 10, 1751 in Hesse Casel. In the period from 1702 to 1727 thousands of Germans emigrated to America to escape the dreadful sufferings of their native land. The earliest ones, on arriving in New York, were not treated well. They went to Pennsylvania and settled. From there on, Germans that came to America always landed at Philadelphia. The book goes into detail surrounding this.
