This publication provides the Hargitt - Haddock family centenary history and genealogy, from 1820-1920, and includes collateral lines of Gibson, Johnson, Lynas, Nowlin, and Sutton. It begins with the marriage of Thomas Hargitt and Elizabeth Jarvies in central Yorkshire, England in November, 1789. Their youngest daughter married Robert Haddock just prior to the emigration of the family from England to America in June, 1821. The first part of the book is historical and the second part is the genealogy account.
