This is the Hulbert family genealogy, a historical record of the descent of Kenneth Leaman Hulbert from Thomas and Sarah Hurlbut (Hulbert) of Wethersfield, Connecticut, 1635. Thomas came because he was a soldier under Lion Gardiner, who built and had command of the fort at Saybrook, Connecticut. While at Saybrook, in 1637, he was wounded in an encounter with the Pequot Indians, where he was shot in the thigh.  Typescript.
