Published as an addenda to the 'Humpheys Genealogy'  these accounts recorded are from official English public records, beginning with John Humphrey in 1532. And from American records as they journeyed to 'the new world' as early settlers in America. Included are wills, memoirs, brief biographical sketches, Revolutionary War service records of Humphrey family members. Included is an index of American Humpreys not bearing the paternal name, with intermarriages. It ends with an account of George Wilmot Humphrey who died in 1898, after having an accident attempting to regain control of a spirited team (of horses).
