Joseph Ingham came from England to Quinnipac, now New Haven, Connecticut, in 1639. This sketch of the Ingham family shares some of the basic history and religious and civil state of England at the time of Charles I and how some of the small Connecticut settlement s were started. Joseph Ingham and Sarah Bushnell were married at Saybrook in 1655 and these are their descendants, covering the years from 1639-1871.
