JOHNSON: Rev. Jacob Johnson of Wallingford, CT & Willkes-Barre, PA 1904

There were three brothers in the emigration of 1638- John, Robert, and Thomas, and they were Puritans coming from Kingston-on-Hull. It it through Thomas Johnson, the third brother, of which this line is from. His wife was Helena. Sergeant Jacob Johnson of Wallingford, Connecticut, was born in September, 1674 and died in July , 1749. He married Abigail. He was Sergeant of the Wallingford Train Band, deputy for the General Court for several years, an extensive land owner, and left a largely valued estate.
