This 1893 publication presents a historical, genealogical, and biographical account of the Jolliffe family of England and Virginia, from 1652 to 1893. It includes sketches of the Neill's, Janney's, Hollingsworth's, and other cognate families. John Jolliffe was the American heir of Thomas Jolliffe and his wife Margaret (Skinner) of Cofton Hall, England. John married Mary Rigglesworth in 1662 /63, and they had seven children.
