A historical and genealogical record of the Judd family in England and America, to 1856. These are the descendants of the line of Thomas Judd, the emigrant ancestor who came to New England in 1633 or 34, and settled in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He was admitted a freeman of the colony in May, 1636. He later moved to Connecticut where he was of the first proprietors and settlers of Farmington and then Hartford.
