JUDD: Philip Judd and his descendants 1923
By Caroline Judd McDowell
A historical and genealogical record of the Judd family in England and America. These are the descendants of the line of Philip Judd and Mary Peters. Thomas Judd was the emigrant ancestor who came to New England in 1633 or 34, and settled in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He was admitted a freeman of the colony in May, 1636. He later moved to Connecticut where he was of the first proprietors and settlers of Farmington and then Hartford. This follows the line from Thomas, son Benjamin, son Jonathan, to son Philip.
