These are the descendants of Absalom and Nancy 'Ann' Kent of England and Virginia. Absalom was born in England in 1702 and came to America about 1751, settling first in Fairfax, VA then moving to Old Town, Maryland prior to 1763, and was believed to have been kiled by indians in 1765. Three brothers, Joseph, Absalom, and William and a sister, Susan Kent were children of Absalom and Nancy 'Ann' Kent. The focus in this volume is on the descendants of William (1763-1849). He married Sarah Perrin.
