This publication contains the history and genealogy of the Kimball family, being the the American ancestry and descendants of Levi (b. 1745) and Abigail (Sissons) Kimball of Connecticut. His father was Jacob, born in Ipswich, 1706 and died in Preston, CT. in 1788. 

Levi and Abigail Kimball were married in 1767 and had fourteen children between 1769 and 1797. 

The Kimballs were in America early, coming from England. These early emigrants were Henry and Richard Kimball, who fled persecutions of the Old World, and landed at New England, settling in Massachusetts in about 1634.
