The King Family presents a brief genealogical history of Dr. Robert King, a settler of Blanford, Berkshire County, Massachusetts. He was born near Cork, Ireland about 1744 and married Bridget Knox 1767. It is supposed they came to America soon after they were married as their children were born in America. His son was Captain Dr. Robert King (b. 1777) of Sandisfield, Berkshire County, Mass and Charleston, Ohio.
