By Emerson Kinne
This publication on the history and genealogy of the family of Kinne was written in 1881. Salem was the seat and center of settlements, the first town settled in Massachusetts. Salem has a deep history and it is from here the name of Henry Kinne originates, as seen in records. He was born in 1624 and died in 1712. He was about 30 years when coming to America. Having eight children, his second son, Thomas continues this line.
