Jesse Knight family: Jesse Knight, his forebears and family is a biography of Jesse Knight by his 2nd son Jesse William Knight. We learn about Newel Knight from his journals. He was born in Vermont in 1800 and as a young boy his father moved the family to New York. He worked alongside Joseph Smith Jr. Newel Knight married Sally Colburn in 1825. that was one of the early members of the LDS Church (Mormon). It goes into detail on the beginnings of the religion, his involvement and how it impacted his life.
