Thones Kunders and his children presents a list of descendants for six generations through his youngest son, Henry Cunreds "of Whitpain". It covers the years from 1683 to 1891. William Penn conveyed thousands of acres of land to residents of Crefeld, Germany in the area of Germantown, Penna. for the purpose of  colonization from their home land. In 1683 a small band of German emigrants set sail.  Among the number on the ship 'Concord' was Thones Kunders, his wife Elin and their children. There were thirteen men with their families, totalling thirty-three persons.
