These are the descendants of Joran Kyn, founder of "Upland - New Sweden", now Chester, Pennsylvania. He was born in 1620 in Sweden and came to America in company with Governor John Printz, in the ship "Fama".   Kijn, Kijhn, Keen, are variations of this name.
