This short book presents the Lambert family of Salem, Massachusetts. Records show them in Salem as early as 1637. Shown is the court case that Michael Lambert was witness in, and a case where he was sued for slander , and a case where he was drunk in August 1644. We see Richard Lambert, of Salem, in 1636 in a list of land holders as well as him being fined in 1655, for "smoking tobacco openly in the street". There was a long court case concerning his wife, Sarah Lambert. Also shown is the wife of Thomas Lord of Hartford, CT (Repr. Essex Inst. Hist. Coll.) (SOFTCOVER)
