This book is a genealogy of the Leavenworth family in the United States, with Historical Introduction, by Elias Warner Leavenworth, being a revision and extension of the genealogical tree compiled by William and Elias Leavenworth.

Thomas Leavenworth was born in England and was married to Grace and they emigrated to America around 1664. He died at Woodbury in 1683. We see an inventory of his estate. He left two sons and one daughter. His wife Grace survived him and she died in 1715.
