Harry W. Lichtenwalner of the Penna branch was President of the Lichtenwalner Reunion. This extensive publication showing the history of the family of Lichtenwalner - Lichtenwalter, is presented in three parts. The early history in Pennsylvania in Part 1, the descendants of Johann. Their origin was German. In their journey to America in 1733, as on the passenger list Johann was 33 years old and his wife Barbara was 24. They landed at the port of Philadelphia. Johann the 2nd and Abraham are the only children of Johann whose descendants have records.

Part 2 The Carbon County branch, and Part 3 the Ohio branch, descendants of Abraham. 

This record enables descendants to trace their lineage forward or backward from any point.
