It focuses on the lineage of George Linn, who was born in Ireland in 1731 and died in Boston Harbor in 1759. The book traces his descendants, including his son John Linn (1754-1834) and John's wife Rebecca Anderson. They helped to found the town of Londonderry, New Hampshire. John Linn, George's son, was born in Boston in 1754 and married Rebecca Anderson in 1779. He died in Windsor, Maine. Rebecca was the daughter of John Anderson (1728-1780) and Margaret Stewart Katley.
