This publication contains a genealogical and historical record of the Livezey family, the ancestry of Thomas Livezey, the ancestor of the American family. Thomas Livezey (1627-1691) was an early convert to the Quaker faith in England. His first wife Sarah died and he married a second wife Ellen before he immigrated to America around 1682, and settled in Philadelphia. The bulk of the Livezey descendants remained in Philadelphia for several generations.
