Robert Lloyd was the son of David Lloyd (1669-1714), a Quaker of Merionetshire, Wales. He immigrated from Wales to Merion Township, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania in 1684 and was about 14 years old, employed by Robert Turner. He married Lowry Jones in 1698 at the Merion Meeting House. Descendants and relatives listed lived chiefly in Pennsylvania. Ancestors and relatives lived in Wales, England and elsewhere to the early 1300s or late 1200s. The genealogical records are arranged alphabetically, by surname.
