Part 1 & Part 2 Combined: Simon Lobdell came as a young lad with a party from Hereford, England in 1645, and his name is given as a resident of Milford, Connecticut. He took the freemans oath at Hartford, CT in 1657. Simon married Persis (Pierce) Lobdell  and they resided at Milford, Connecticut. They had five children, Mary, Elizabeth, Joshua, Anna, and Rebecca, these are their descendants. Also shown are Nicholas Lobden (Lobdell) -1635 of Hingham, Massachusetts and some of his descendants. Lobdells mentioned in council of Appointment in military records of New York State, 1783-1821. Three towns in the USA have been named after descendants of Simin Lobdell. Part 2 begins at p. 201.
