The Marston genealogy in two parts is an unchanged, reprint of the original edition of 1888. 

From county records, town, and church records...William Marston was born in England (tradition says in Yorkshire County), ca. 1592. He immigrated to America in 1634 with his family and settled first in Salem, Massachusetts. They moved to Newbury, Massachusetts, ca. 1636 and to what is now Hampton, New Hampshire, in 1638. He was the father of five children, born ca. 1617-1663. He died in Hampton in 1672. Descendants lived in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, and elsewhere.
