This short book provides a record of the descendants of Alfred Martin, of Floyd, Oneida County, New York, with a 1996 addendum and index By Martin H. Irons. Alfred, son of Ebenezer and Sarah (Capron) Martin, was born July 8, 1800, in Floyd, NY. His father was pressed into service in the second war with England in 1814. He sent his son Alfred as a substitute.. He served and was honorably discharged.   Alfred married Rhoda (Denison) in 1820. Their children were all born on the farm they occupied for thirty years in Floyd, NY. That is where he died in 1850. His wife lived until 1898. (SOFTCOVER)
