When Charleston fell to the hands of the British during the Revolutionary War, Robert Martin moved his family to Spartan Co, SC. Several years later, after the war he moved his family back to Charleston. This book provides 5 pedigree charts. It also touches on another family that was the progenitor of the Scottish branch but does not go into detail on it.
