MARTIN: Genealogy of the Martin family 1918
By Charles William Francis
Vol 1. A history and genealogy of the Martin family, from their earliest times in Europe, England and Ireland to America. In 1635, on the list of passengers coming to America we see Robert and Johanna Martin, both aged 44, making the date of their birth 1591. Settled at Weymouth, Mass, employed as a surveyor, and of the Puritan faith. Later he is seen among the first settlers of Rehoboth. He left no children. Also at this time, in 1644 we see the names of Isaac and Abraham Martin. This book focuses on the story of Isaac Martin, who immigrated from England, and his son John Martin's settlement in Dover, New Hampshire, and later Woodbridge, New Jersey.
