Daniel McCallum and Isabel Sellars: their antecedents, descendants and collateral relatives. Daniel McCallum, with his wife and children, emigrated to America from Kenteyre, (Cantire, Canteyre), Argyleshire, Scotland in 1770. After six weeks the company landed near Wilmington, NC. By the spring of 1771 he had lost his wife and children. It is not clear if they died enroute or during the first year. He settled in North Carolina. He later married Isabel Sellers. This book contains records on the coat of arms, wills, Revolutionary, church, genealogy, and cemetery records.
